Reference: U.S.ARMY UNIFORMS OF THE VIETNAM WAR  by Shelby Stanton.

1.   USA LIGHTWEIGHT  RUCKSACK.  DSA "1968".    Complete with instruction sheet in pocket.  One upper frame buckle keeper is broken off,  and it has no waist strap, which is common, as they were seldom used and quickly discarded by the troops.   Has all others straps,  Ref: Stanton, p.162.  Excellent overall condition. $300 SOLD

1a. OLIVE DRAB PONCHO LINER.  Rare! This has the middle seam, solid OD color, legible specification tag.  i.e. DSA no date. No cigarette burn holes, rips or tears, just a little faded.  Rate it vg+...Super Rare!!! ... $300 SOLD

2.  TROPICAL RUCKSACK.   DSA-1968. Reference: STANTON, page 167. Frame complete except for waist strap, which was remove as they were seldom used; in used condition with some rust on the X frame but otherwise complete with readable spec tag on the back.   VG condition. No tears or rips. $350.Sold

2a.  ARVN RUCKSACK. Mint condition. Complete with X frame and side straps. Excellent.. $125Sold

2b.  ARVN RUCKSACK.   Very good condition, nice color, with X frame. $95 SOLD

3.   Early Issued: US SPOT PATTERN CAMOUFLAGE PONCHO LINER.   Middle seam, no cigarette burn holes, rips or tears, nice example in excellent condition. Spec tag is clear and visible.  DSA 1963.   RARE...$300Sold

4.   KIT SURVIVAL INDIVIDUAL HOT WEATHER OPERATIONAL.   Complete with all contents in nylon OD carrier.  The only problem is  the plastic lid is cracked into a dozen piece and  taped together.  $100

4a.  US TOWEL, OLIVE DRAB, VIETNAM ISSUE.   Excellent, named on corner to "Capt. Sheppard," official issued OD "sweat rag"  and very rare.  $30.SOLD

9.   RARE, 20 Round M16A1 Magazine Pouches, marked: "Case Small Arms Ammunition.  DSA-1968."  Matched pair. Unissued condition, really great.  Rare. $95.SOLD

18.   M-1 US Combat Helmet Complete. All components are Vietnam dated, correct camo band and Mitchell pattern camouflage cover.   Excellent condition....$85.

19.  CASE SMALL ARMS AMMUNITION M-14/M-16.   I have three pairs of "M56 ammo pouches" in near mint condition, DSA no dates.  $20 per pair. 

20.   USMC FLAK VEST. ( Body Armor Fragmentation Protective) M-1955.  Size Medium. excellent condition, with two added pockets on the front. $65Sold

21.   US Army FLAK Vest with 3/4 Collar .    M1952 Fragmentation Protective Body Armor, 3/4 Collar, dated 1968.  This was the most often issued vest to Army combatants in Vietnam.  Ref: Stanton, p.93.  Size Medium, exc. condition. $100Sold

21a.  US ARMY FLAK VEST M1952A (ref: Stanton, p.92) Dated 1 FEB 1955. This is the model with epaulettes that  was used early in the war. Size Medium.  Rare. used, v.g. ...$65 Sold

22.  US ARMY NONCOM'S Official Brass  WHISTLE with issued shoulder chain.   These were issued to all noncommissioned officers.  marked: Unissued in the wrapper....  $20.

23.  USMC M-14 Single Magazine Pouches.  I have four in mint condition...$15 each. All Sold

24.  USMC M61 Rifle Belt for M-14 rifle.   Used, contains snaps for single M-14 magazines. excellent. RARE.....$35Sold

27.  US COMPASS M-2 in carrying case.  This is the famous "Artillery Compass" desired by all as it is in 6400 Mills and not 360 degrees, which allows for greater accuracy.  Vietnam era, use. $75

42.  US ARMY ISSUED WRIST  WATCH.  Commonly referred to as the "LRRP Watch."  These were issued to certain officers. Dated: 1968, with nylon band, it works. Marked; Watch General Purpose Westcox FSN.   $100Sold

43.  U.S. OD Angle Head FLASHLIGHT marked: MX-911/U.  Vietnam era issue, Manufactured by "USALITE" with logo. QM carton was dated 1962.  I have three remaining. Unissued condition. $35 each.Sold

44.  BINOCULAR M19 w/e with OPERATOR'S MANUAL : Dated 1977. TM 9-1240-381-10, in Case Carrying 10547051 Excellent...Has all the straps.  Missing the extra M1 Filter lenses that is snapped into the inside of the case and can be attached to the eyecups on real bright days. $150Sold
